A sailing trip from Aalborg, usually starts in Skudehavnen and goes west past Egholm towards Gjøl and Nibe, where we turn and sail back.
The Limfjord is in this area relatively shallow with a deep sail that you have to follow. It slightly limits the possibility of e.g. to cross for sails, but one can always sail either one or the other way for sails.
on the other hand, the low water depth in the area means that the waves do not get very large – so it is a very weatherproof place to sail from.
We can also sail from central Aalborg just east of the bridges, but the fjord to the east is quite characterized by industry and not as scenic as to the west.
